Love on a Plate — Valentine’s Cooking Experience
French cuisine has long been the language of romance — from the delicate art of a slow-pour wine to the shared delight of a rich, beautifully plated dish.
This year, we invite you to celebrate Valentine’s with more than just dinner. Join us for an immersive, hands-on evening where you’ll cook together, laugh together, and savour something truly memorable. Guided by Chef Karen and Chef Anne, you and your partner (or dear friend) will prepare a thoughtfully crafted French-inspired menu of three exquisite dishes, designed to deepen connection and delight the senses. Then, at the end of your cooking journey, you’ll dine — toasting good company, delicious food, and a night that lasts far beyond Valentine’s 2026.
The Appetizer
Velouté de Champignons — “A silky mushroom velouté perfect for sharing the first savoury chapter.”
The Main
Coq au Riesling - Tangy, creamy and somehow both refined and rustic at the
same time, Alsace’s version of coq au vin is a classic in its
own right
Pommes Mont D’OR - Piped Pureed Potatoes with a crispy crust
Lyonnaise Green Beans
Dessert - Moelleux au Chocolat et Coulis de Framboise — “Rich molten chocolate cake served with raspberry coulis — the finale that kindles romance and indulgence.”
After the preparation, our chef instructors will plate the meal, and the students will be seated to enjoy their creations. During the meal, the student chefs will explain how they prepared their recipe so that everyone learns to make all the dishes. The recipes will be emailed to the students after the class.
