This class is perfect for foodies that are new to Toronto or visitors from other provinces or countries. Meet me at Sanagan's Meat Locker on Baldwin Street in Kensington Market for a tour of the new and exciting businesses that are changing the face of Kensington Market. They are sustainable businesses with a pulse on locally sourced ingredients and top quality. We will pick up some of the ingredients we need for our feast that we will be preparing at Viva Tastings Kitchen only a 15-minute walk from Kensington. Menu TBD, but it will be incredible.
The walking tour section of this class is 1 hour and the hands-on cooking class is 2 to 2 1/2 hours unless otherwise noted, and each student enjoys a generous taste of every dish at a sit-down meal with a glass of wine.

Menus may not be the same as stated in the overview due to seasonality and availability of ingredients. However, the final menu will remain true to the theme of the course.
If due to unforeseen circumstances, this class has to be moved to another date, you will be notified at least 2 working days before the class.
There is no refund for the class, however, if for any reason you have to cancel the class and you let us know 5 working days before the scheduled class, you can reschedule for another class of your choice.
If you have to cancel at the last minute, please send a friend in your place.
